SpiceJet’s Cadet Pilot Programme is a perfect launchpad for those who want to fly high. It is a programme designed for young aspirants eyeing for a seat in the cockpit of an aircraft. And who better to train you to be a pilot, than India’s favourite airline, SpiceJet.

Selection Process:

  • The Selection Process is designed to determine the suitability of the candidate for the job of an Airline Pilot.
  • SpiceJet cadet selection process consist of 4 different Stages.
  • The first three Stages (1, 2 and 3) which will be typically completed in a day.
  • The fourth and final Stage will be conducted within a week after the first three Stages
  • First three Stages will be Computer based test.
  • Candidate will progress to the next Stages only on passing the first Stage
  • The fourth and final Stage will comprise of a personal interview
  • Candidates will not be allowed to use calculators or mobile phones during any of the Stages
  • Final results will be declared within a week from the fourth and final Stages

Stage 1: COMPASS TEST

You will be tested on following skills:

Short-term memory

Mental arithmetic (Mathematics)

Spatial Orientation

Multi-Tasking



Stage 2: CCT

Here you will be tested for the following skills:

Eye-Hand-Foot Coordination

The aptitude to fly an aircraft

Stage 3: Psychometric Test

In this test you will be tested for Personality and psychological suitability for the job of an airline pilot.

Stage 4: Personal Interview

Your verbal communication skills and personality for the job of an airline pilot be assessed.
