How to become pilot ?

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR BECOMING PILOT IN INDIA

Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) lays down the minimum eligibility criteria to become Pilot.

• Qualification: 10+2 with Physics & Maths or equivalent. If Physics & Maths was not your subject in 10+2, you still have an option of passing these two subjects at 10+2 level from National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) and pursue pilot training. NIOS conduct exam in two modes: On-Demand Examination & Regular Exam. Visit nios.ac.in/ for more details.
• Age: Minimum 16 years for obtaining Computer Number & 18 years for issuance of Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
• Medical: Able to obtain Class-2 & Class-1 medical from a DGCA approved medical centre/doctors.
• Language: Able to Read, Write & Speak English language

DGCA EXAMS: Air Navigation, Meteorology, Air Regulations, Technical General, Technical Specific and RTR

FLYING TRAINING OF 200 HRS AS PER DGCA REQUIREMENTS AND AIRLINE PREPARATION

STEP 4

SUBMISSION OF FLYING TRAINING DOCUMENTS AT DGCA FOR ISSUANCE OF CPL
