First off all, U have to complete your 10+2 With Maths & Physics, after that
obtain Computer no. From DGCA for the Exams and do ur Class-2 & Class-1
Medical. After that Complete Your Ground Classes, then complete 200 hrs
Flying training to get a Pilot License.
What Jobs can I have after getting a Private Pilot License?
You can fly Private Aircraft whose weight is less Than 5700kg.
Can I use my license in other Pilot Jobs/Field?
No, u Can’t, u can only use your License for Commercial Pilot or Pilot in
Forces like Air Force, Navy & Army.
What are different types of Pilot Licenses and how do I get them?
There are 4 categories of Pilot Licences in India.
(a) SPL- Issue by DGCA after a written exam and Viva in flying club.
(b) PPL- Issue by DGCA after completing 70 flying hours and 4 DGCA Exam.
(c) CPL- Issue by DGCA after completing 200 flying hours and 6 DGCA
Exam.
(d) ATPL- Issue by DGCA after completing 1500 hours and 9 exams and Viva
by DGCA.
What does the pilot training medical check cover?
It will cover lungs, heart, blood pressure, stomach, limbs and nervous
system. Ears – the AME will use normal conversational voice 2 meters behind
you. You should be able to hear that in each ear separately.
